Yesterdays men's circle had a great turnout.

10 blokes did the hard thing and showed up for themselves and for others.

But for anyone that has not yet been involved, you may ask:

Why a men's circle? What's the point?

In today's world, it's easy to be bombarded with noise. Human connection and real conversations can get lost easily. Arguments, interruptions, ‘us vs them’ mentality, constant distraction, having to put on a mask, or act only in the way that our role or title allows us. It’s exhausting, and honestly, it isolates us.

That’s why we do this.

A men’s circle isn’t some weird, mystical thing. It’s just a space to check out of that game for a bit. No political debates, no titles, no agendas, no judgement. Just a place to seek actual human connection. A place to be real with others; and yourself.

It’s rare these days to have a proper conversation where a phone doesn't get pulled out. Here, there’s no scrolling and no interrupting. We don't listen just to respond. It’s a space to actually listen.

This is the group to be honest. “Manning up” doesn't mean shutting up—it means having the guts to talk about the hard stuff. Addressing the things that require it. The failures, the stress, the things we usually bury. Everybody is aware there is a problem, people are lacking support systems and outlets, we want to offer one for men that is reliable, authentic and unique.

When you hear another bloke admit he's struggling with the same stuff you are, the weight lifts. When you can acknowledge the feelings and situations that have been pushed down and ignored, you can feel a bit lighter. When you take the time to show up for yourself, you can leave feeling better.

We know the first one can be daunting, flick us an email if you have any questions or concerns. There’s no pressure to stay, no pressure to share. Come pull up a chair, give it a shot.

Men’s circles every fortnight, all RSVP’s are private, see our upcoming events on our main page of the website for more information.

We hope to see you at the next one,

Darren, David, and Lachlan
